Welcome to the Platypus Theater!

We are an independent Berlin-based theater group, which develops and produces English-
language or bilingual plays for children and teenagers. We explore themes which interest
us and which tie in with the experiences of our audience. Usually we devise our own plays
in cooperation with authors who work in the creative team. The plays are designed to move
and entertain the audiences and makes the encounter with a foreign language enjoyable and
